Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Santa Clara Unified School District paused implementing its Vision 2035 strategic plan. In 2021, SCUSD asked Nichols Strategies to re-engage and socialize its Vision 2035 strategic plan with its stakeholders.
Nichols Strategies partnered with Santa Clara Unified School District’s Communication and Community Outreach Department to collect valuable data, discovered key insights and a system to evaluate progress, utilized research to socialize its strategic plan, and created a multi-year communication and socialization strategy for its strategic plan. Additionally, all initial research was conducted utilizing previous surveys to prevent further student, parent, staff, and community stress considering the pandemic.
An adaptable, multi-year socializing strategy plan based on in-depth research. Key indicators and a dashboard framework were developed to continue updates to the community of progress measures of Vision 2035.
A key aspect was customized survey questions and a partnership development with Project Tomorrow.
